Interior NVH System

ISOLATION DASH PAD

  • An Isolation Dash Pad is installed in the engine room of the vehicle to absorb and block noise from entering the cabin. It is an important part that makes the biggest contribution to noise reduction.

TUNNEL PAD

  • A Tunnel Pad is installed on the under floor carpet in the cabin to absorb the noise of the powertrain and exhaust system from entering the cabin.

FLOOR MODULE

  • [Consists of Floor Carpet + Car Mat]
The Floor Module is the cabin flooring material that reduces the noise from the engine and the road while driving to reduce the noise level inside the cabin. It also provides enhanced comfort for the passenger.
  • Car Mat
A Car mat improves the overall quality of the interior space and improves the lifespan of the carpet by protecting it.
  • Carpet Skin
Carpet skin is the finishing material for vehicle’s cabin space.
  • Sound Absorption Pads
Sound Absorption Pads block and absorb noise entering through the floor of the vehicle.

EXTERIOR NVH SYSTEM

UNDER COVER

Under Cover is attached to the body panel at the bottom of the engine room to reduce the noise from the road while driving and protects the underside of the engine.

  • ENGINE UNDER COVER
  • FLOOR UNDER COVER

INSULATOR TUNNEL

  • An Insulator Tunnel is mounted on the body panel of the vehicle's underbody to reduce the noise of the engine room’ exhaust system and to reduce noise and vibration in the cabin. It must be flame retardant.

WHEEL GUARD

  • The Wheel Guard is assembled over the wheel to block foreign substances from the wheel, and reduce the noise generated by the wheel, thus reducing noise and vibration in the cabin.

OVERHEAD SYSTEM

HEADLINING

Headlining is an interior part attached to the ceiling of a vehicle to block the noise from the ceiling, such as wind and rain noise, and also absorb the noise generated in the cabin. It also protects passengers from head injuries in case of a collision, and is equipped with handles and lamps for convenience.

SUNVISOR

  • A Sunvisor is mounted on the interior headlining to block sunlight and is equipped with a mirror for the convenience of front seat passengers.

ENGINE NVH SYSTEM

PARTITION ENGINE ROOM

  • The Partition Engine Room is installed in front of the insulator dash in the interior of the engine room to create a partition that maximizes noise suppression capabilities. It must be flame retardant.
  • Partition Wall
A part that blocks noise from the engine room

    Sound Absorbing Material
A part that absorbs noise from the engine room

INSULATOR DASH

  • An Insulator Dash is mounted on the car’s body panel in the engine room to reduce the noise and vibration in the cabin. It must be flame retardant.

HOOD INSULATOR

  • The Hood Insulator is mounted on the engine room’s hood to reduce the engine noise and to protect the hood panel from engine heat. It must be flame retardant.

DOOR TRIM SYSTEM

DOOR TRIM

  • The Door Trim is an interior part mounted inside the vehicle's door that includes a handle, a window switch and a locking switch. In addition to providing convenience and comfort to the passenger, it also protects the passengers in case of a side collision.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

CONTROL ASSY-WATER TEMP

  • The Control Assy-Water Temp protects the engine and improves the fuel efficiency by controlling the temperature of the coolant so that the engine maintains a constant temperature.
  • As the engine opens and closes the value by communicating with the ECU, it controls the flow of coolant in each port to maximize fuel efficiency and heating effects.

CONTROL ASSY-WATER TEMP

  • The Cylinder Block Cover is mounted on the engine cylinder block. It is a heat-resistant, sound absorbing part that improves fuel efficiency and reduces radiation noise by keeping the engine warm.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  • As the engine opens and closes the value by communicating with the ECU, the Thermal Management System controls the flow of coolant in each port to maximize fuel efficiency and heating effects.
